Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern the use of Financial Control (the “service”), available at fincontrol.digital and in the mobile apps, run by Angelo Pelisson (CPF 072.917.819-65) (“we”). By creating an account and ticking the acceptance box, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Financial Control lets you record and track fixed expenses, installment purchases, transactions, income, budgets by category and goals, and it produces reports, including with the help of artificial intelligence.

• The service is not a financial institution: it does not move money, does not connect to bank accounts and never asks for bank passwords.
• The information shown depends on what you enter. The service does not provide financial, accounting, tax or investment advice.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and give your real name and e-mail. Access is granted once the e-mail is confirmed.
• The account is personal. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for any use made with it. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and let us know.
• Each person should have one account. Accounts created by automated means may be removed.
• People with access. The account holder can invite up to 2 people, who sign in with their own login and can then see and edit all the data in the account. The account holder remains responsible for the account and for the people they invite, can remove their access at any time and is the only one who can subscribe to or cancel the plan. When the account holder deletes the account, the data entered by the invited people is deleted too. Invited people can leave the account whenever they want; if they had their own data in the app, it shows up again.

4. Free trial, subscription and payment

• Free trial. Every new account gets a 7-day trial with every feature unlocked and no card required. Accounts created before billing started remain free of charge.
• After the trial. Without an active plan you can still sign in, view and export your data and delete your account, but you cannot create, edit or delete entries or use the AI. Your data stays stored and becomes editable again as soon as you subscribe or buy the one-time pass.
• Pro plan. It is available as a monthly or 6-month subscription, or as a one-time 30-day pass. The price and currency are shown on the plans screen and on the payment page before you confirm, and nothing is charged without your express agreement.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period (monthly or every 6 months), on the same payment method, until it is canceled.
• One-time pass. A single payment that unlocks Pro for 30 days from the payment confirmation. It does not renew and creates no further charge: when it ends, the account returns to read-only mode until a new purchase or subscription. While a pass is active, you cannot buy another one or subscribe.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in Preferences › Subscription › Cancel plan. Before you confirm, the screen shows the amount to be refunded and until when Pro stays on. There is no fee or lock-in. On the monthly plan, it does not renew and access continues until the end of the month already paid, with no refund. On the 6-month plan, each started month of the period is charged at the monthly plan price in the same currency, the difference from the amount paid is refunded to your card, and access continues until the end of the last month charged. The one-time pass does not renew; after the withdrawal period, there is nothing to cancel.
• Right of withdrawal. As a distance contract, you may withdraw within 7 calendar days of the purchase and get the full amount paid back (art. 49 of Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code), to the same card. The full refund within 7 days applies once every 12 months per account. Pro access ends immediately. To do so, use Preferences › Subscription › Cancel plan or write to [email protected]. This period applies to the first purchase, to each 6-month renewal and to each one-time pass; monthly renewals can be canceled at any time, with no refund.
• Price changes. We may change prices. A change only applies to future renewals and will be announced in advance, by e-mail or in the app, so that you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Payment. It is processed by Stripe. Card details are given to Stripe and never pass through our servers. If a charge fails, Stripe retries for a few days; if it still fails, the subscription ends and the account returns to read-only mode.
• Deleting the account. When you delete your account, the subscription is canceled immediately and no further charge is made. Deletion itself does not trigger a refund: if you are entitled to one (withdrawal or the 6-month plan), cancel the plan before deleting the account.
• Usage limits. AI features have a daily usage limit per account.

5. Acceptable use

When using the service, you agree not to:

• use it for illegal purposes or to record other people’s data without authorization;
• try to access other people’s accounts or data, or parts of the system not intended for you;
• bypass usage limits, overload the service or use bots and automations that imitate human use excessively;
• copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it;
• try to manipulate the AI features to obtain illegal or offensive content or to attack the system.

6. Your data

The entries and information you record remain yours. You authorize us to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

We recommend not including sensitive data, or data about other people that is not needed, in descriptions.

7. AI features

Summaries and answers generated by artificial intelligence are automatic, may contain errors or inaccuracies and are for information only. Check the figures in the app itself before making decisions. What is sent to the AI provider is described in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The software, the Financial Control brand, the design and the texts of the service belong to us or are used under license. These terms give you a personal, free, non-exclusive and revocable license to use the service; they do not transfer any other right.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data intact, but it may be unavailable for maintenance, because of third-party failures (hosting, internet) or for reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features. If we decide to shut down the service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and provide a way for you to get a copy of your data.

10. Liability

Financial decisions made based on the information in the app are your responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or losses caused by incorrectly entered data, by use contrary to these terms or by acts of third parties. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law guarantees you as a consumer.

11. Termination

• You can close your account at any time in the app (Preferences › My data › Delete my account) or by e-mail at [email protected]. If you want, download a copy of your data on the same screen first. Data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the law, stating the reason when possible.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect is always on this page, with the date at the top. Relevant changes will be announced in advance by e-mail or in the app and, when necessary, we will ask for a new acceptance. If you do not agree with the new version, you can close your account.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of your place of residence, as provided by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Before that, we invite you to contact us so we can look for a solution.
